Kurita Connect360 enables KPI visibility in a Petrochemical Plant
Background
A petrochemical plant in France producing PVC, VCM, caustic soda and chlorine derivatives has an open cooling water system that is being treated with Kurita’s FReE online cleaning solution. The customer was lacking visibility on these towers, especially in terms of savings and efficiency improvements realized by the FReE application. For this customer, a total of 6 cooling water systems is being treated.
Objectives
- Bringing visibility to the improvements with near real-time tracking of cooling tower performance.
- Provide alerting capability for out-of-range parameters.
- Calculate water and energy savings near real-time.
