A customer was suffering from turbidity values out of the accepted limits in the industrial water production plant outlet. This situation was having the following impact:
- deposit formation at sand filters in the
process - fouling of membrane separation systems
- increase in the cleaning frequency of the sand filter and membrane systems.
The unstable outlet water value is due to the fluctuations in the canal water quality entering the treatment plant, especially in autumn. The
coagulant and flocculant dosages were fixed without taking into consideration that critical point into account.
