Perglutin® paper sizing agent is one of the Kurita’s paper making chemicals for customising the surface properties of packaging grades for internal and surface applications. Perglutin® provides outstanding hydrophobation, enhanced pick resistance, decreased dusting and linting, improved printability.
Dilurit® deposit control programmes help paper and board makers in keeping machine cleanliness and efficiency on the highest level achievable. Our patent pending Dilurit technology contributes to overcoming bottlenecks in wastewater treatment plants by the elimination of microbiological induced scaling. The benefits are an increased COD degradation level and a higher yield of combustible gas in the anaerobic stage.
Wet strength agents (WSA) of the Giluton® range belong to Kurita’s core business with functional additives for the paper industry. Giluton® strength additives for wet and dry strength enhancement support the mechanical properties and provide additional functionality to packaging solutions, i.e. for recycled fibre-based corrugated boxes for cold storage applications or liquid packaging board. Giluton® supports wet strength paper process, fines and filler retention, trash fixation, the performance of other additives.
Our innovative and patented Gilufix® FT pitch and sticky control technology is a new generation of polymers which keeps stickies in a colloidal state and discharge them via the sheet or a process clarification unit thus leading to enhanced machine runnability and brighter furnish in the de-inking plant.
