Corrsave® 100 lowers pitting below the visual detection limit
Kurita´s case study 153 “A German ASU-plant drastically reduces corrosion with a low P-treatment” demonstrates the superior performance of Corrsave® 100. Having a strict discharge limit of < 1.5 ppm Total P, localized pitting corrosion has been observed when using traditional corrosion inhibiting technologies. After switching the treatment to a Corrsave® 100 based treatment the general corrosion rate could be reduced by more than 60 % while respecting the discharge limits. Even much more important the pitting was reduced to below visible values. Even pit depth measurements have resulted in values below detection limit results. Download the customer success story here.
