Kurita´s presence during JIE (Journées Information Eaux), Poitiers
From October 11th - 13th, the 22nd conference and exhibition for water treatment took place in Poitiers, France. The JIE is one of the major events in France in the water business and attracts each second year several hundred visitors from the water world. Kurita was one of the 23 exhibitors from both industry and university. There were approximately 80 lectures in three parallel sessions.
Kurita contributed with two lectures: Christophe Forêt together with Michelle Merchat (Climespace) reported about ‘Corrosion risk management in a cold water system (in French)’ and the good experiences obtained with Cetamine. Wolfgang Hater presented Corrsave 100, our ‘New Corrosion inhibitor for cooling systems based on a heavy metal free phosphorous modified organic acid’. Additionally, Fabrice Cuoq from SABIC Technologies and Innovation gave a lecture on the positive experiences with film forming amine (Cetamine) for the treatment of the water/steam cycle of naphthacracker 4 in the Netherlands obtained during more than 10 years. Furthermore, he presented the results of a joint research study between SABIC, Kurita Europe and CRC on the replacement of cyclohexylamine by diethylethanolamine.
