Second edition of the global Kurita Water & Environment Event

The Kurita Water & Environment Event is a global online event in which a specialized team of professionals gather to discuss the relationship between water & environment, considering four main pillars: water savings, energy consumption, production efficiency and waste reduction. All these topics are central to today’s lack of resources on a global level.

As a water treatment company with a presence in more than 35 countries, Kurita organizes this event, considering the need to improve the natural resources in every productive cycle. On the same day, in their respective time zones, more than 7k people are expected to participate in round tables, general discussions and Q&A sessions. As the day passes, experts from Japan, ASEAN countries, China, EMEA, South America and North America will be part of this initiative.

This year, we partnered with Kilian Jornet’s Foundation, founded by Kilian Jornet, a renowned outdoor athlete who is deeply committed to preserving mountains and respecting the natural environment, which has been his source of inspiration and personal growth.

Although mountain environments are different worldwide, they share many of the same problems as they are very vulnerable natural areas. The Foundation works on research, education and direct-action projects to move to a more sustainable future for these environments and all the species that inhabit them.
