Acting today with a responsibility for tomorrow.
Kurita’s actions are directed by its environmental responsibility. Study the properties of water, master them, and we will create an environment in which nature and man are in harmony. This is one of the guiding principles of our company philosophy. And this is our daily commitment: in our research and development as well as in concrete solutions for you on site.
We are driven by the realization that water - our most important resource - is in limited supply. All our energy and competence is therefore invested in the effective usage of this precious commodity. Innovative technologies like Kuriverter® RC provide decisive impulses – with solutions that profit our customers. And the environment.
What Is shaping the earth’s future?
In the 70 years since its foundation, Kurita has consistently provided solutions in the fields of water and the environment. The social issues facing the world today include fields where Kurita’s accumulated technologies and expertise can make a difference, such as a lack of freshwater and climate change as indicated by the Sustainable Development Goals. Kurita will continue providing value to society so as to realize a sustainable earth.

Support in humanitarian projects.
Kurita demonstrates its social commitment and frequently donates where it is needed:
Pallapupas improves the emotional state of children in illness processes. The passage through the hospital is very often traumatic and in the case of children, it generates a lot of misunderstanding and neglect. The disease is not chosen, but we can choose how to live it and understand it. They work in close collaboration with healthcare staff, using humour and theatre as a resource to overcome and grow in adversity. With Kurita´s donation in 2019, Pallapupas was able to visit 71 children in hospital to make them smile!
Bread for the World:
Bread for the World is a globally active development and relief agency of the Protestant Churches in Germany. In more than 90 countries all across the globe, they empower the poor and marginalised to improve their living conditions. In the remote villages in the northwest of the Republic of Moldova, many older people live completely isolated from society. A partner organisation “Moldavian Christian Aid (MCA)” organises nurses for nursing, and young volunteers drive away the loneliness of the elderly. Kurita highly appreciates that young volunteers care for old and lonely people and supported the project financially in 2019. For more information on this project, click here.
Every day, Anthony Nolan matches incredible individuals willing to donate their blood stem cells or bone marrow to people with blood cancer and blood disorders who desperately need lifesaving transplants. It all began in 1974. With her three-year-old son Anthony in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant, Shirley Nolan set up the world’s first register to match donors with people in desperate need. Now, the charity helps three people each day find that lifesaving match. But without you, there is no cure. With Kurita´s donation in 2019, 10 hours of patient support by a nurse could be covered, 10 potential lifesavers could be added to the stem cell register and 1,000 swab packs could be paid to sign people up to the stem cell register.
Save the Children:
Save the Children is the world´s leading independent organisation for children and believes every child deserves a future. Through projects worldwide in over 120 countries, they give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. Save the Children is distinguished with the label of the German Institute for Social Affairs (DZI), which is proof of the efficient use of resources and appropriate handling of donation.
