With this project, Kurita and its partner, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/groupe.es.fr\/Accompagner-nos-clients-en-Alsace\/Nos-activites\/Energies-Renouvelables\/Geothermie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ES-Geothermie<\/a><\/strong>, are committed to developing new solutions in geothermal applications to improve productivity and save energy by eliminating environmental impacts.<\/p>\n<p>ADEME is a French organization under the supervision of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion and the Ministry of Energy Transition. The organization supports green initiatives for the advancement of the energy transition in France. In this opportunity, the joint project of ES-Geothermie and Kurita in the Upper Rhine geothermal field has been approved.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Geothermal Energy and European Union&#8217;s Carbon Neutrality Goal<\/h5>\n<p>Geothermal is not only a renewable energy source, but also a key factor in achieving the <strong>European Union&#8217;s goal of <\/strong><strong>Carbon Neutrality<\/strong> by 2050. Helping to develop more environmentally friendly technologies is aligned with our company core values, and therefore we are proudly making this announcement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>ECOPID Project Goals<\/h5>\n<p>The collaboration between Kurita, ES-Geothermie, and ADEME on the ECOPID project focuses on addressing corrosion and scaling in geothermal plants located in the Upper Rhine Graben, France. The initiative aims to boost geothermal process performance and mitigate the plant&#8217;s impact on health and the environment.<\/p>\n<p>The ECOPID project will explore the implications of deposits on the operation and maintenance of geothermal plants, underscoring the importance of ongoing research and innovation in this field.
