Combined heat and power plant uses environmentally friendly product Kuriflock 6412 for water treatment

Sludge from industrial processes can be reused as fertilizer. The product itself and all chemicals used during the dewatering process must comply with the applicable guidelines, in Germany the Fertilizer Ordinance (DüMV). Increasingly, the question of environmentally friendly, “green” products is being raised in this context. With these premises and the will to serve the industry with such a product, Kurita developed Kuriflock 6412, which consists partly of starch and partly of polyacrylate and meets the requirements of the DüMV in terms of degradability.

Obiettivi

• Minimize environmental impact by reducing amount of polyacrylate used for flocculation.
• Formed sludge can be used in fertilizers in accordance with the German Fertilizer Ordinance (DüMV) and thus compliance with legal requirements.
