Tuttavia, questo metodo poneva diversi problemi, tra cui un elevato rischio di corrosione dovuto all'ossidazione aggressiva, un controllo microbico inconsistente e problemi persistenti di biofilm.<\/p><p>Inoltre, il sistema richiedeva un elevato consumo di sostanze chimiche (circa 110.000 kg\/anno) e incontrava difficolt\u00e0 di stoccaggio e movimentazione, come la decomposizione e il danneggiamento delle linee di dosaggio.
