ako je zn\u00ed\u017eenie v\u00fdkonu syst\u00e9mu a po\u0161kodenie materi\u00e1lu v d\u00f4sledku kor\u00f3zie (MIC). Okrem toho sa na povrchu hromadiace bakteri\u00e1lne biofilmy m\u00f4\u017eu v\u00fdrazne zn\u00ed\u017ei\u0165 prenos tepla a zv\u00fd\u0161i\u0165 trec\u00ed odpor v r\u00farkach. Biofilmy na sten\u00e1ch potrubia m\u00f4\u017eu tie\u017e sp\u00f4sobi\u0165 v\u00e1\u017ene hygienick\u00e9 probl\u00e9my vo vodn\u00fdch syst\u00e9moch, ke\u010f\u017ee poskytuj\u00fa prostredie pre patog\u00e9nne mikroorganizmy (ako napr\u00edklad\u00a0<em>Legionella pneumophila\u00a0<\/em>ktor\u00fd sa \u0161\u00edri prostredn\u00edctvom aeros\u00f3lov a sp\u00f4sobuje legion\u00e1rsku chorobu).<\/p><p>V d\u00f4sledku toho je \u010dasto nevyhnutn\u00e9 pou\u017eitie bioc\u00eddov, napr\u00edklad v chladiacich syst\u00e9moch, papierniach a celul\u00f3zkach. Programy \u00fapravy musia v\u00fdrazne zn\u00ed\u017ei\u0165 obsah bakt\u00e9ri\u00ed (TBC) vo vode a zabr\u00e1ni\u0165 tvorbe biofilmu.
