Visibility of Cetamine® performance in remote boiler systems
Background
A global leader in floating power plant operations, with over 30 floating units, sought to enhance the reliability and efficiency of its fleet through remote monitoring capabilities and IoT solutions. The pilot application of Cetamine® in one of the vessels proved very satisfactory results opened the way for additional treatment possibilities. However, because of its way of operating in remote locations where connectivity and remote access are difficult, the customer faced challenges in real-time asset monitoring optimizing operational costs across multiple vessels. To overcome this, Kurita Connect360 was introduced using its manual entry functionality, which allows users to record data locally and upload it once internet is available. As a result, the pilot vessel has been connected to Kurita Connect360 to enhance visibility on the boiler systems and make benefits of Cetamine® fully demonstrable.
Objectives
- Enable real-time monitoring of key power generation assets on customer vessels.
- Align with the customer on how to utilize Kurita Connect360 and prove to them that the application is suitable for their needs.
- Establish a scalable digital platform for future expansion across the fleet.
