R&D Centers
The Kurita Group promotes research and development on a global scale, primarily from our Kurita Innovation Hub in Japan, as well as from our development base in Germany and Singapore. Our Development Centers are strengthening cooperation with each other. The Group promotes initiatives ranging from research of core technologies to the development of new products, new technologies and new businesses.
Milestones of our History
Kurita acquires Arcade Engineering Group, an industrial engineering company specialized in water and process plants for the microelectronics & semiconductor industry and the construction of electrical switchboards.
The Kurita Innovation Hub opened as a new research and development site in April 2022 in Tokyo, Japan.
Kurita Europe celebrated the opening ceremony of its new Technology Centre on September 23th, 2021, in Viersen, Germany.
Acquired Avista Technologies, Inc. in the United States, and Avista Technologies (UK) Ltd., which manufacture and sell RO chemicals
Acquisition of production site in Ambes, France, for Paper and water treatment chemicals.
Acquisition of the Water & Paper business (former BK Giulini) from Israel Chemicals Ltd. – merge of European entities to become ONE Kurita Europe
Kurita Global Technology Center established through the integration of research and development facilities
