European automotive spare parts manufacturer reduce make
up water need and clear water phase separation with
Kuristuck Technology
Background
The customer produces automotive spare parts and has a paint booth for manual painting. The customer expected improvement in paint detackification and less need of fresh make up water. This case study shows the benefits of Kuristuck Technology on detackification and sludge recovery and therefore the positive impact on fresh make up water consumption.
Objectives
- Improvement of sticky paint problem (good detackification).
- Better sludge floatation and therefore better water phase separation.
- Less sludge moisture content (less sludge waste, reduction of CO₂ emission).
- Less blow down water (water saving, less WWT load, reduction of CO₂ emission).
- Reduction of total cost of operation.
