Abu Qir Fertilizers: Leading Sustainability Initiatives in Egypt’s Industrial Sector
Congratulations to Abu Qir Fertilizers of Egypt on being one of the winners of the Kurita Sustainability Award 2025. Through their partnership with Kurita, Abu Qir Fertilizers has demonstrated a strong commitment to sustainability by achieving significant milestones:
- conserving 5 million liters of water annually,
- preventing 5,000 kg of plastic waste from entering landfills each year,
- and reducing both energy consumption and operational waste.
Representatives from Abu Qir Fertilizers and Kurita recently gathered to mark these accomplishments at the Kurita Europe Technology Center in Viersen, Germany.
