Improving system protection and efficiency through Cetamine® boil-out in Rotomat-Autoclaves
Background
Autoclave systems are continuously operated with high-temperature water, which can be a major reason for increasing corrosion risks in the system. Thus, corrosion in autoclaves can be a common issue, which affects the system performance as well as disturbs the production cycle. Along with this, the change/depletion in metal quality can also be an added risk for corrosion or scaling in the system.
A big food producer in Liechtenstein suffered with similar issues despite having new rotor parts replaced in the autoclave systems, indicating the declining metal quality.
Objectives
- Protect the systems from any further degradation in terms of corrosion and scaling.
- Aiming to provide better system protection and higher system efficiency.
